Shape the Future of Optical Measurement: We’re Hiring C# Developer for MERCURY RT®

Are you a C# developer who thrives on solving complex technical puzzles? Are you tired of corporate open spaces, endless approval loops, and jumping from one disconnected project to another?

At Mercury MS, s.r.o., we do things differently. We develop MERCURY RT®, a world-leading software for Digital Image Correlation (DIC) used by engineers globally for high-precision impact testing and material deformation analysis. We aren’t a project factory; we are a product team dedicated to staying at the absolute top of our field.

As we scale to build the next generation of our 2D/3D optical measurement systems, we are looking for C# Developers (from talented juniors to seasoned seniors) to join our team in Brno.

Why Join the Mercury MS Team?

  • Meaningful Innovation: Your code will directly impact how aerospace, automotive, and research sectors analyze material safety and performance.
  • Product Ownership: Instead of “project hopping,” you will help evolve a single, world-class product that has been leading the market for over 10 years.
  • Creative Freedom: We prioritise agility over bureaucracy. You will work in a small, dedicated team where your ideas are valued and results are prioritised.
  • Complex Challenges: From advanced image processing to high-performance multi-threading, you will tackle problems that require true analytical thinking.

What We are Looking For

We need developers who have a “clean code” mindset and a passion for technical excellence. Our ideal candidate brings:

  • C#/.NET Development: Proven experience in developing Windows desktop applications.
  • Analytical Thinking: An interest in algorithms or math is a great advantage, as we work extensively with image data and spatial coordinates.
  • Image Processing Interest: While not mandatory, any experience with OpenCV or similar libraries is a significant plus.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You will work closely with our application engineers; the ability to communicate in English is important for effective daily coordination.
  • The “Finisher” Attitude: We pride ourselves on delivering robust features and taking pride in code that is free of technical debt.

Our Tech Stack

We use a modern, structured environment to keep our development smooth and efficient:

  • Languages/Frameworks: .NET, C#
  • Tools: Visual Studio, TeamCity, Bitbucket, Youtrack, Google Workspace, InnoSetup

The Details

  • Location: On-site (Brno, Czech Republic) to ensure close daily contact with our application engineering team.
  • Format: Freelance (OSVČ) or Part-time/Full-time collaboration.
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rates ranging from 400–800 CZK/hour based on experience.

How to Apply

If you are ready to trade the corporate grind for a role where your work truly matters, we want to hear from you.
