We’re thrilled to announce the release of MercuryRT Version 3.1.7! It’s got some great new features that we think you’ll love, especially if you’re using high-speed cameras or dealing with complex testing scenarios.
Here’s what’s new in MercuryRT Version 3.1.7:
- Support fror Chronos high-speed cameras: We’ve added support for Chronos high-speed cameras: Mercury version 3.1.7 now works with Chronos high-speed cameras from Kron Technologies, so users can capture high-speed events more easily and accurately.
- Set length in stereo scene (3D): We’ve made new improvement to the probes adjustments. You can now tweak the length of line, polyline, and chain probes in stereo (3D) scenes using the context menu. This feature gives you more flexibility and control in 3D test environments.
- Neck Probe jaws detection: We’ve also added cool new features to the neck probe detection so you can detect the jaws of the testing machine and automatically extend the neck probe. This allows you to use the neck probe on specimens without a spackle pattern.
This version also brings some important updates to the camera drivers.
- FLIR Spinnaker cameras (version 3.2.0.57)
- Basler cameras (version 7.4.0.38864)
- Ximea cameras (version 4.28.0)
Alongside these enhancements, we have officially ended support for AVT, Matrix Vision, Sentech, Evercam, and PTP camers. We’re now focusing on providing an optimized experience with regular cameras from Basler, IDS, XIMEA, and PointGrey (FLIR).
