MercuryRT DIC Showcased at IMRC 2025 in Cancún

We are excited to share highlights from the 33rd International Materials Research Congress (IMRC 2025), held August 17–21, 2025 at the Cancún Center. Organized by the Sociedad Mexicana de Materiales (SMMater) in collaboration with the Materials Research Society® (MRS), the event welcomed nearly 2,000 participants from 45 countries, offering a truly multidisciplinary perspective essential for scientific advancement and technological innovation.

At Booth 12, our partner SLAM Solutions presented the MercuryRT Digital Image Correlation (DIC) system alongside Phantom High-Speed Cameras, demonstrating state-of-the-art capabilities in non-contact, high-speed strain and deformation measurement.

Dan Hafen, Jorge Villanueva, Michal Václavovič and René Souček joined forces at the event to connect with researchers, engineers, and industry experts. Together, they showcased how MercuryRT empowers non-contact, full-field strain and deformation analysis, making it a valuable tool for advancing materials science, aerospace, and industrial research through advanced high-speed imaging and vibration analysis..

The event provided a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate live applications of high-speed imaging with DIC technology, sparking insightful discussions and collaborations.

Thank you to everyone who visited us at IMRC 2025. We look forward to continuing these conversations and pushing the boundaries of imaging technology and materials research.
